took mygica to florida and it worked fine in hotels with decent wifi in each room rather than communal areas. presume with firestick you wont need different adapters for mains socket. do they work from usb straight into tv?

Hi guys, so these fire sticks work well then? Seems they retail for approx. £37 to £72 all depending on where they are from and what's on them?

Cheers guys, I might give one a go then, its just that there are so many things nowadays with which to obtain entertainment - and as always the hardest thing can be to find the one (or more!) which suits ones own needs most of all!
Oh, please bring back the 'easy' life of satellite channels, smart cards, cams, etc etc!! lol!!

I have just stayed in a hotel in Vegas where the TVs were blocked from displaying any entertainment systems other than their own (for which you had to pay obviously).

But otherwise don't think there are any geographical limitations.

But from what has been said above, not a lot extra from basic Freeview - as surely no 'major' channels such as Sky Sports, BT Sports, etc etc for your money?

Once you put KODI on it then the world is your lobster

I bought a Fire 4K TV Box when they dropped down to £64.99 a few days back.

They have more ram and a faster CPU than the more basic stick I think and also have a micro SD card that can take a card up to 128GB and a USB port as well.
