    Help with Newcamd using oscam

    Hi All,

    I have transferred the Oscam _11077 to my VU+ Solo 4k and have activated it and I have used the instructions on how to connect to Newcamd server using Oscam, but the channels remain scrambled.

    I have checked and double checked to make sure that I have done as I should have, but wondered if there is anything else I need to do or have missed. Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Beekay

    See this photo for help.

    You log into your oscam web interface, add the site address and port as show, along with the username, password and key. check enable and set to group1 if you don't have any other groups set up.

    Hi mrdude and thanks for your reply.

    How do I get the reader settings? I can get settings on Open Webif but not reader settings.

    Thanks for your help,
    Beekay

    Select that from the web interface, click on add - then enter the details I gave you from the example above - with your own details.

    The oscam wiki can give you more info:

    Code:

    The web interface is different to yours and does not have a reader, or am I missing something? (Sorry about the other captured pic)

    its the oscam webif you need to access, not the box webif

    check the login port for your oscam in its config

    then type in the ip address for your box in a web browser like firefox and also add a colon and then the port

    a box will come up asking for login name and password

    these will also be in the config file, usually oscam and oscam are the defaults

    so the oscam webif web address in your browser will be something like this

    Code:
    http://192.168.1.08:12345

    its in var/tuxbox/config and is the oscam.conf file

    it will look something like this for the webif if you read the conf file in an editor or in notepad plus

    Code:
    [webif]
    httpport                      = 12345
    httpuser                      = oscam
    httppwd                       = oscam
    httprefresh                   = 5
    httppollrefresh               = 8
    httpallowed                   = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255
    aulow                         = 60
    hideclient_to                 = 15
    the top 3 lines are the

    port
    login name
    login password
