    Eutelsat 25B / Es'hail-1 @ 25.5° East

    Hi

Many thanks in advance for any responses.

With the big switch today of the Bein Sports UK channels on 7w to Eutelsat 25.5.

Can this be reached in the UK - if so what size dish do you reckon - the info I have managed to get is that the beam is mainly seen in the Med.

Im currently running a decent signal on a 1.4 dish fixed to 7w in North London.

    thanks again.

I'm much further south than you but just realigned my dish this morning. Try searching transponder 11142 V, that's the strongest in Spain

Its good youve mentioned this as it seems it gone mainly unnoticed on many forums

In past the 25.5 east bird was a non starter for Uk & most of the northern area of europe

I will try it when I get chance but don't hold much hope tbh unless the power has gone up/footprint altered

No it is not correct the only Bein sports channels are as follows

beIN Caption HD info card (10853 H) on Eutelsat 7 West A @ 7.3° West

beIN Caption HD info card (11449 H) on Eutelsat 7 West A @ 7.3° West

    beIN Max 1 HD info card (12245 V) on Eutelsat 7 West A @ 7.3° West

beIN Caption HD info card (12284 V) on Nilesat 102 @ 7° West

and I assume that info card, means test card, so that is it until further notice.
