    Question diseqc motor question

Been out of this game for a few years now, the brain is a lot older and me memory is hopeless.

I have noticed for example if receiver goes to 13 degree it drives motor to about 17degree (reading from the markings on the motor)
I am still yet to align it but is this correct as I am using USALS.
I am using the OpenBox V8 but I think I will change this, but not sure what to go for yet will take a look at GoldWafers.

    Many thanks

It all depends on your Longitude, and the markings, on the motor.
If using Usals your dish/motor should have initially been set to 0, then you enter your Latitude, and Longitude, into the receiver, select a suitable satellite, for alignment, then use your receiver to send the dish/motor, to that satellite, before physically aligning it on that satellite.
Negative longitude readings = West, positive = East, using Usals, to initially position your dish/motor, corrects for the True South position.
