I am really struggling with IPTV
When I first installed the patch, I pressed update (blue button) from IPTV menu and got everything. It was awesome.
Now when I update, I get 'NETWORK ERROR'
So I tried the other way (after deleting all lists/channels within the IPTV menu) - by going to MENU/SOFTWARE UPDATE/UPGRADE BY NETWORK - selecting lists 1, 2, 3 or 4 gives me the WRONG SERVER INFORMATION error message.

    Gutted

I have tried everything and read so many different posts that as a last resort I am reaching out for help by posting

Is it because I need to update at weekends? Scratching my head now :(

doesnt work in the new mscam patch, so you will have to wait and see if its ever sorted out or not

the respondents in this thread are talking about the old patch dated 01 april 2015 , not yours

there wont be a new spiderbox coming out, all the current new boxes are the old model - but brand new stock

Not sure - it worked when I first installed it at a weekend a couple of months ago

I tried deleting every list in IPTV then trying the other update method (software update/network update/list 1 or 2 or 3 or 4)

I've been using one of the new stock with the mscam patch.
There is no way to choose the IPTV list like before.
However, I managed to switch between lists 1 & 2 on the new patch by loading the old patch first and choosing the list there and flashing the new patch. The IPTV list was the same as the one I selected.
I was getting errors trying to update IPTV for a few hours tonight so I did a factory reset again to get rid of my channels and managed to load IPTV before restoring my channels from a USB backup.
This patch acts a bit differently to what we were used to but as more people use it, I am sure we'll all get used to it.
