    im back... well nearly

    hi guys

good to see this site is still up and running and is as strong with its members as it has ever been.

as some of the older members may remember me, its been a good 5 year sice i moved into a property where i was unable to install a dish and i got quite out of date on all this stuff.

fingers crossed in the next few month that will not be the case and ill be looking at getting back into the sat world again and having a look around at what is on offer (guessing not much with the video guard (are they still using that system?) that everyone moved to but still)

having fun looking around the site and seeing some of the old members still putting 110% in as well

hopefully things going well i shall be making a few contributions just like i did in the old days soon myself

    regards

    zad

good to see your still keeping the peace in here mate fingers crossed 2 month time ill have a home where i can at least get a fixed dish and a monobloc attached.

see linux boxes are still the way to go, still have my tm9100, admittedly its under about 3 inches of dust now and is more than likely less stable than it ever was.

    Welcome back mate!

Here's a list of boxes that I personally highly recommend.

MyGica ATV582 Android TV Box (No Satellite Dish required) Just install the Wookie Kodi add-on and prepare to have your mind blown!

    Wookie install guide below:
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...l=1#post935373

Satellite Boxes to check out are:

    Vu+ Solo2
    Vu+ Duo2
    ZGemma-Star 2S
    Spiderbox HD6000

Good to see you back with us, mate!

Yeah. I moved on to xbmc heavy when i had no sat box. Now i have a custom pc setup running kodi and some magical stuff happening these days on that scene.

Does not feel the same without hunting for codes and pointing a huge dish in your back garden tho.

Feels a bit too easy and a bit if a cop out!
