The Remainder of the Arqiva Freeview Satback Channels

We know that Arqiva has the 11495V transponder on Intelsat 907 at 27.5degW, for the satellite backup of the terrestrial Freeview service, carrying: BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, ITV London, C4, CBBC, Cbeebies, Film4+1 and a few others.

However, Intelsat 907 does not carry ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, Film4, and many other channels that make up the rest of the Freeview service.

So the question is, which satellite/txp carries the backup of the remainder of the Freeview channels?

According to Lyngsat, the satellite 'next door' to 27.5degW is Intelsat 905 at 24.5degW, and it carries many BBC feeds, but intriguingly it also carries 3 Arqiva feeds on transponders 11589 H, 11598 H, and 11608 H, all on the Spot 2 beam

Are these the remainder of the Freeview Satback channels?

These three Arqiva transponders are probably each carrying a multiplexed stream, they all use DVB-S2, and 8PSK modulation.

Does anyone have any more information on these three Arqiva transponders on Intelsat 905?

From memory, I thought 27.5W was only intended as a feed to local fill-in transmitters which don't carry the full Freeview bouquet. Its secondary use was as a backup feed to the main transmitters if the primary one failed.

No, those are simply feeds that have been there in the past. Same as all the other 'feeds' frequencies there.
