    Chris Squire

Yes bassist chris passed at the weekend aged 67. was one of the groups founders and unless im mistaken the only constant over the years. massive stadium band in the 70's. loved the albums close to the edge, relayer, tales from topographic oceans. many more classic rock albums fragile, going for the one, tormato to name a few. most people will have heard owner of a lonely heart, wondrous stories and don't kill the whale. rest in peace chris.

Yes are one of my (and I am sure many others) favorite bands of all time. Chris's base lines are mega awesome and right now I have the line to Roundabout ringing in my ears. 67 is no age but sadly, cancer is no respecter of age nor status.

Am at an event with Roger Daltery in September. Just hope he and indeed I, last that long.
