    C-lines on TM6900 Super

Can a TM6900 take more than one set of c-lines? I was trying out some free test ones and my TM freezes up when two lines (from the same provider) are input and connected. Its seems to run ok when one is connected only. I seem to remember reading a thread a couple of years ago about how many lines the 6900 could take but can't find it. I'm on patch 7.62.

Press 8281 and see for your self.
Multiple lines can be used at same time.

Thanks manic. I have used 8281 to enter the lines, but my TM freezes up and has to be switched off at the mains when I have more than one line connected. When I switch it on again I have to quickly disconnect a line before it freezes again. Just wondering if it was a patch issue experienced by others?

Someone once told me that it pays NOT to have too many lines on at one time - e.g. ok if your provider has two lines to have them both open obviously, but if you also have another provider, I was told it may clash!

Same provider for both lines - so they must still clash. Has done this with a couple of test providers. I've found turning one off helps!! Pity as I find the old TM more reliable than the Spiderbox.

If its same provider mate its highly likely that they BOTH have to be open anyway to cover the full spread!

Personally you should probably try an earlier patch to see if that cures the problem you have plenty to choose from as sometimes the latest patch is not always the best on some models

Quite right mate, my TM6900HD Super went last year, for first a TM5402HD M2 then an M3 - so haven't been able to try out latest TM6900 patches, although there obviously haven't been many anyway! lol!!
