Hi,

Is there anyway to uninstall Xbmc and start again as I am unable to get any sound and most of the films now don't even load now but they used to!!!

Navi-X - no sound
1channel - never been able to get working
Icefilms - never been able to get working

to get these 2 channels just change the web adresse in xbmc program
some where in the xbmc section are the web addresses you need

Icefilms - change the icefilms url to "https://ipv6.icefilms.info" if you live in UK, working

and for 1 channel it wants to be
domain.....http://www.1 channel.ch
custom domain....

Hi,

I seem to have managed to completely uninstall the xbmc plugin, is there anyway to reinstall it.

hope you managed to get everything sorted.XBMC is programmed the same really no matter what device it's on and I found youtube most helpfull.have a look at joe nobody and vdubt25's vids!

For xbmc on the VUplus how do you get into the menus to change options for custom domain?

Go onto the primewire movie icon then press the mute button on the remeote control then select settings

For the Navi-X sound problem do this.

1st Enable Contest menu
To access Subemnus in Xbmc we need a button to emulate right mouse Button.
We will do this using the mute button:

1) Goto the folder /media/hdd/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps and check if it is present the file keyboard.xml
2) If you have not the file in this location goto /usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps/keyboard.xml
3) Edit file keyboard.xml
4) find line <volume_mute>mute</volume_mute>
5) Subtitute with <volume_mute>ContextMenu</volume_mute>
6) Restart Xbmc

To Fix Audio Problem
1) install Navi-X
2) Map the mute button to ContextMenu as explained above
3) Launch Navi-X
4) Select the media you want to watch
5) Push mute button to access Submenu
6) Select Set Default Player
7) Select PAPlayer
8) CLOSE THE OPTION MENU
9) Select again Set Default Player
10) Select Auto Select
11) Close the menu
12 Run your file.

Not my work so credit due to the original authors, i can confirm the above works 100% though.
