I have one of these boxes it is OK on SD but when I try on HD it looks like I loose the line hold, I am new to android and have tried various settings nothing seems to make any difference can anyone suggest what next to try? I am beginning to think the box is faulty. waltwal

I have one of these but have not been able to set it up properly yet. If anyone knows of a guide other than the useless manual that accompany's it, that would be useful. Regarding your problem there is a settings icon which you can click on to set resolution of screen. Also if viewing via HDMI try removing the AV lead. Only add or remove cables when switched off ( this applies to the box and the TV). If you add a HDMI connection when on it may not be recognised and you get a black screen. reni

Bit off topic but i purchased one for my daughter a few weeks ago and firstly even when switched off the blue light on the front stays on meaning there's no way of knowing if its switched on or off without changing input on tv to check?
Also my hearing is very good for my 54yrs of age and notice after the box has been in standby for a while i can hear a noise coming from the box?
Powering it off at the mains obviously stops this but is a pain in the backside reaching behind tv stand to switch on and off when wanting to use it.

Thanks for the interest shown I have tried all the items mentioned but nothing has made any change, when I say loose the line hold I mean the picture breaks up into horizontal lines (older TVs all had a user line hold control) I must be getting old regards waltwal
