I just tried this on solo2 with a backup image of openpli4, followed all the tutorial but can only see the channels epg, no sound or pic. Eror I get is Service invalid(Timeout reading PMT) I did a sat scan as well. Re-loaded lamedb as well.

    Lost.

I take it these are still opening.

    Service invalid Timeout reading PMT

    lamedb file is wrong

    example

    Code:
    4484:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    BBC One HD
    p:BBC,c:0019c9,c:0319c9,c:050001,c:1219ca,f:4
if the bit in red is missing or not written correct

    you get

    Service invalid Timeout reading PMT

    open lamedb
    search for
    4484:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    check the p:BBC line

Hi Ozzsurf and thanks for an excellent guide on setting this up. It's working perfectly for me here in Lanzarote now and I've also managed to get my EPG working for all the freesat channels and sky ones to.

My only problem is/was your lamedb file is missing a couple 100 channels and my working lamedb has now got all the channels plus the missing channels added from a rescan but now my BBC HD, ITV HD, (all HD) is missing the sound.

I've opened both files in notepad and searched for BBC ONE HD and both files look the same I think? Can you have a look at my file, I can test it out while I'm still here in Lanzarote and it maybe helpful to other users who are looking for a more complete list :-)

all your p: lines are wrong bits missing
    both sd and hd channels
do your lamedb again like this

    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...l=1#post942948

    example

    working
    4484:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    BBC One HD
    p:BBC,c:0019c9,c:0319c9,c:050001,c:1219ca,f:4

    yours not working
    4484:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    BBC One HD
    p:BBC,c:0019c9,c:0119ce,c:0319c9

and most of your 27 west lines have ,f:04
    should be ,f:4

Thanks for your quick reply, I did manage to find the errors and correct them using a previous post of your's. :-) You say my SD channels are incorrect as well? They're all working perfectly it was only the HD channels that weren't working?

Thanks again for this excellent thread, I'd never have got it to work with out all your hard work :-)

Hi Lacierva, I actually removed the radio channels from my list and the ***** channels too. I'm heading off to Spain today and then I'll be back home in Ireland the following week so I won't be able to add them to that lamedb file. Maybe someone who has the radio channels may be able to create a new lamedb file and share it here. :-)

This extra info maybe helpful for others as well. I'm using the latest version of Openvix 3.2.0.30 on a VU+ Solo2 box and everything is working perfectly now. As long as everyone follows ozzsurf's guide exactly as he's written it should work perfectly :-)

Try oscam-ymod in post 2 that should do what you want , I have tried autoswitch before and it didn't work very well for me.

I've just upgraded from 18-34 to Oscam ymod 18-56 and find I don't need the vix camscripts. Any ideas why that is? Are they build in to 18-56? I can't see them, but I'm probably looking in the wrong place.
    Just curious.
