hi ozzz any chance of you ammending catseye last release with the lamedb file edited, or give us a tut on how its done exactly, not had much sucess myself, must be doing something wrong

Why would the lamedb affect motor settings? I have just tested with some old lamedb files of my own and the lamedb files provided by ozzurf these are more up to date and better then my originals none of them affect the motor.
Could you please be a bit more precise about the problem?
all working fine here, vu duo 1 running openBH 0.1 19jun2015 in the flash , last update 14jul2015 , using mgcamd 1.38 , also open using oscam too

you say you just tested, are you using a motor set up ? what seems to happen to me is when i edit lamedb with enigma stopped and then started, it will grey out loads of channels on other sats, what i want to do is learn how ozzsurf edited a catseye file and put it out on the forum, there was no need to start stop anything just load on the amended file and all was hunky dory, ithere has been loads of changes on 19e so iwould like to update my settings,

Yes I am using motors on 2 seperate dishes no problem on either with the ozzurf lamedb.
Yes you can edit the lamedb file manualy, again with enigma 2 stopped you can edit each one individualy this is what ozzurf and myself have done in the past, no need to do that now apart from when adding new channels.
I suggest that first of all you check your tuner settings after uploading the lamedb and see if there is a problem. If no joy I would reflash the box with a new image and start from scratch. Could be a corrupt image.
Just an addition, i dont know if this could cause you problem but if you are using the latest file there was an ammended version uploaded.

do you think it could be edited with notepad++ with enigma stopped, i have all values of the channels to edit, just the best tool for editing i need,
Yes that is spot on should work fine, but first I just edited my last post with.
Just an addition, i dont know if this could cause you problem but if you are using the latest file there was an ammended version uploaded. Worh checking.

I do everything ok with the bbc working and sky working using cccam and then half my catseyes settings all disappear into dvb services,any ideas please
ricky, here is the procedure,
load cats eyes,
then be on any channel except on 27.5w
ftp into channel list on your box and open lamedb file and edit with notepad ++, look for bbc, itv entries and change for the new data, do them all at once,
open telnet input init 3 to stop enigma
back to notepad ++ and save
back to telnet init 4 command to start enigma again,
all should clear now and your catseye all intact,
if you are trying to use someone elses lamdedb file i find this is what greys out entries in cats eye list, if you need the individual entries for 27w let me know
nb: channel4 +1 not opening no idea why
