Polsat Card in a Spiderbox 6000HD

Hi all, anyone know if a legit Polsat card can be used in a Spiderbox 6000HD , If yes I would appreciate some guidance or pointers on how to achieve this.

You should not need a card to clear the Polsat channels on Hotbird, as a lot of them clear with the Spiderbox 6000 already.

Hi Aldo, thanks for the response and yes I'm aware of that fact but unfortunately the broadband speed in the owners area is diabolical and he is suffering a lot of glitching etc. using the Spiders facility .

Aren't Polsat cards paired to their receivers? wish I had one thats still working so I could check (I do have an old card here but its expired so can't check) Best way would be to stick it in a try for yourself (if you already have a card) If you are thinking of buying it it will come with a box anyway??
WOuld be cheaper for your mate to invest in a mobile broadband, Will cost him/her less money to have it connected that way if the net over the landline is rubbish (and the box supports 3G no problem) and using what the box has to offer without the need of card .And the subs are rather pricey if you want the full works (movies and sport)

Yes but you will need a box that has a CI+ slot (and the 6000 doesn't have one) So if the card is paired and wont work directly in a card slot it wouldn't work for the OP (hence my sugestion of either getting a card + box or sort out the net connection if he has IKS still valid, with the latter working out cheaper than getting an official sub. IKS also opens up another Polish TV platform (NC+) and I am guessing here he's looking to open as many polish channels as he can?)

Polsat cards are Not Paired as such , only NC+ Nagra cards are paired but Seca cards are ok .
i have Polsat pre-pay card working for over 6 years without issue it works with Oscam
but since Spiderbox does not support this maybbe USB Broadband is the only simple realistic soloution here ?
    cheers .

Thanks to all the helpful replies guys, looks like the mobile broadband is the best option available to sort his problem, he has a Polsat card /box which is a add-on (second room) to a master box /card and I'm not sure which, but it either needs the master card inserted into his slave Polsat box or his slave card inserted into the master Polsat box at regular periods. He is delighted with the extra channel & facilities available on the Spiderbox but finds the glitching a little annoying. again thanks for the info and a Merry Xmas to all.

If you`re going the card route these guys will help
    Code:
    _www.I.will.not post.links.to.other.satellite.retailers.com/
    ,

i have official Nc+/C+ cards off them which run fine in Technisats card slot, i assume the Spider is multi-cam as well.

    Bit off topic.
My canal digital nordic ( conax ) official subscription card ( supposedly paired to CD receiver ) still opens encrypted channels in my spider 6000HD.

Now watching ( Decoding the past ) on history 2 channel.

No have not deployed iks before any one asks

just an update on this - received blank Cyfra/Nc+ cards from Poland, put them in the 6000 and they activated within 20 minutes, so it seems the card slot can handle these official cards as well.

Which ones? They seem to have quite a few packages on offer, with some being a PAYG like Smart HD+ (CONAX) I have one of these here too and it works. But a card that I have borrowed for testing from my mate. (full NC+ that he got with a receiver) didn't open much. Thread is about a Polsat though (entirely different provider/encryption)

Possibly that was the Nagra (paired) version, the ones i`m talking about are the Seca version. It is the Premium package, Sport/Movies etc... C+Film, C+Family, C+Sport etc, etc

Not every multicam card reader will accept an activation signal, and i`ve tried a lot of boxes - another plus point for the 6000
