Solo2 and FRANSAT official card.

I have a Solo2 running VIX Virtuosso Image Extreme and I wonder what is the procedure to make it work with the official FRANSAT card which my French speaking wife uses to watch Fransat package on 5W, but her official Simba receiver has called it a day.

How do I program the receiver to work with an official FRANSAT (not TNT) viewing card?

Hi,

It is not possible Fransat use overencryption and request an AES key, you need to subscribe to bis.tv (just add www. in front to get the website) to unscramble the same channels on 5°W (+ a few more), there is no overencryption with BIS.tv.

Just get another Fransat box the bis card is yearly sub the Fransat card is lifetime no expiry
I see on an ******* site there is a Fransat cam that would probably be your best option

I have a Atlas E receiver, and I can share the card to my Dreamboxes.

I saw that, did anyone try it with a receiver or a VU+ box? The cam is meant for a Fransat compatible TV or whatever that means. I am confused.

You can try all the receivers you want, only a receiver from Fransat will read the card, Or a Atlas .
I have 2 Fransat Cards, but they are SD, they don't work with any softcam.
If you decide to get rid of, let me know.

Just joined the forum so Hi. I have a similar problem, but with a TNT Astra French Viaccess card"valid for 5 Years" I too was wondering how to get this to work with my VU+ box running the latest e2 image. The card works with the sat receiver that came with the card, in fact they gave me two cards, but the power supply is starting to fail so was wondering about using the VU+.
Can anyone make any suggestions, I have got various soft options installed "not sure what you can mention on this forum" that work.Not sure how to link the card reader on the box to the software. Ideas please folks.

you can use the fransat ci but you need to make sure the device you inserting the cam into is ci+ compatible. The Cristor Atlas HD recievers can also be used if you flash it with the K.Y.N.G teams patches.

Supposed to also enable sharing of the Fransat HD card via radegast protocol but I could never get that to work using a Cristor Atlas hd 200s. :( bought mine off the bay.
