29 mar 2012 is the latest (and last) patch on the 7000 and on your 9000

I would think so yes, but I answered the question he asked and do not feel either of the 2 firmwares is related to the problem he mentioned , as both should work ok with sea lions and no software update would fix that issueOriginally Posted by manic01

Cheers Lads tip top as perincidentally the s/w is vas and iks in network and it did need an upgrade for iks to work after it stopped momentarily on the previous s/w i was advised by DM at that time.

does that prevent iks from working satcat as mine has expired
If it's expired. It's expired and you will need to renew it.
If you decide to renew it you will probably need that patch to enable it to connect.
