What Box would you recommend ?

I'm wanting to have another box in my bedroom but was after some recommendations on what to get ?
I currently have a spiderbox 600hd and motorised dish which I love, and I didn't know if it was possible to connect a 2nd box from 1dish ??? So I had two spiderbox running like a multi room set up ???
I do still have a sky dish attached on my house so could connect up f3 box
I don't know of any other boxes than f3 and spider boxes any body recommend a easy set up just so I can watch sky channels in bed ???
    Thanks

You can get F5's now BTW but as you are already so familiar (and it would seem happy) with the Spiderbox, why not just get another one of those.

I got a Spiderbox 6000hd at Christmas as my 'introduction' to satelliting (is that a word). Loved the box and the experience. Decided to 'upgrade' to a Linux based box (a Vu+ Uno) simply because it gave me added flexibility and at the end of the day its a hobby. The Linux box is a challenge (one that I like) so I suppose it depends on what you want to do (and I suppose what your budget is).

But at the end of the day you can still watch everything from an 80 quid Spiderbox. it's a great little box.

Well personally I dont think you'd go far wrong with a TM5402HD M3 Deano, but that is only MY opinion you understand mate!

I see nothing wrong with the TM5402HD M2 but for sure it would be better idea now to go with the M3 version just for the added features i fully agree with Holmroad
its reasonably priced aswell so not a bad choice at all ,
    cheers.

yes you can , providing you have a twin or quad output lnb on the dish (same on any dish , multiple outputs for multiple boxes or more than one tuner)

assuming you use a twin or quad lnb on the motorised dish , one box controls the motor and has an lnb feed too , the second box only receives from the lnb from the sat the dish is pointed at

so the point is that the second box DOES NOT CONTROL the motor at all , so before bed you use the main box to point the dish at the correct satellite in order for the slave box to receive signals from that satellite

if you were using cs , then the first box would need to be turned off at the mains before using the second box , as cs tends to be only one at a time can use it , so not both at the same time

free to air channels only need the dish pointed correctly in order to receive them

if the second box used a feed from an existing fixed sly dish (quad lnb) , then the motor and dish and lnb would not be in use at all for this slave box

    hope that clarifies it

You could find some answers to the TM's, in the Technomate section of this forum, and as for your question to echelon ref cost of installation, that could depend on which area of the country you live in, and the time taken to do the job, so maybe you could ask for a few quotes before making your decision on who to get to do the job.

Sorry M8 I do not know, you could try your local news paper or yellow pages under Sat/TV Installations and ask for quotes for the job that you wish to have done.
