If you used someone elses list it is likely to be configured for the setup that person has. TO make it work on your machine you need to go to menu->Satellite settings and set-up the diseqc according to your set-up. (tick all the sats you are abl to receive, and set-up diseqc for every sat if you are using
the diseqc switch or set up the motor if you are motorised: change the coordinates to yours etc. )

    @ RoadRunner:
i have installed the latest patch software
The problem occurred earlier when i was uploading somebody Sky UK Channel list in hope of a channel list with all Sky channels listed like SKY
Since then i cannot get any of my channels back ??? i have tried everything i can think off
That includes manual satellite scan, auto scan uploading new patches new channel lists resetting the box i just cant seem to get any of my channels back ???
When i go to satellite settings
the signal strength and quality are in the red ?
Do you know what the ideal settings should be
    LNB:
    Transponder
    DISEqC
    etc
As you can tell yes i am new to all this :-(

PS It is a motorised set up

    removed from another thread

Black Devil do you know what could be up with my Spiderbox HD600 ???

if you have used somebody elese channel list , as you have a motorised setup you need to set the menu to a motorised setup, either usals or diseqc v1.2 ( ie:- same as before)

if using usals , you need to put in your own usals settings (your latitude and longitude) - you should have made a note of all of this before changing the list on your box, AND you should have made a backup of your old channel list BEFORE installing a new one

also , do not ask question in any other threads apart from your own thread , ie:- ask in this one only

did you not save your original list?(try reloading that) did you look at the sat, set up? (on the box) as said if you load any list or software YOU! need to check the sat settings and your connections ! (Take your time and post back to every post that has given a suggestion?)

reset your box.. reload latest patch.. load channel list.. (check the system info after loading latest patch and again after channel list , If not the same ?? do not use!)

Edit....sorry echelon you got there first lol

I doubt you've knackered your Spiderbox.
I had similar problems, on my Spiderbox 9000HD, where signal quality, and strength, readings were both solid red, this was fixed by simply turning off the spiderbox, using the rear switch, and turning it back on again.
If the 6000HD doesn't have a rear switch try unplugging it, for a minute, then plug it in again.
If this isn't the problem check the coax cable, from the LNB, to see if this has become loose.

WHAT? This little box can take any newbie so don't give up? lol Take your time read what is being said and do it?
    1 Reload Latest patch?
    2 check the system info?
    3 load your channel list?
4 check system info (not the same make new list) edit : (and reload new patch first before new list)
5 go to sat settings and alter to your settings ?
6 go to connection and make sure they are yours? (if not change?)

7 read and learn from satpimps........

Yes I totally agree that it must be the cable? I had a TM 5400 (SINCE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ANOTHER BOX?) and it shorted out before my sly box?
But Since the op has said (without much more info?) That he or she loaded a channel list and never said if they corrected the usual settings we have to take it ONE STEP AT A TIME????
