    Spiderbox 6000HD bug

Just wanted to report this quirk in case it causes problems for others.

I'll try to describe it in few words.
Right, had satellites at 19e, 13e and 9e set up and working fine.
Then added 16e by ticking the satellite and scanning the channels.
    New list is now 19e, 16e, 13e and 9e.
Decided didn't want 16e so deleted all the channels, then unticked the satellite.
Rebooted but had 'no signal' message on 19e which was correct.
Pressing 'yellow' button showed satellite at 16e could still be selected even though it was unticked and no channels saved.
Selecting 16e from the 'yellow' button got black screen.

    Fix:-
Need to save channel list, then do factory reset, then load channel list again.
    All now Ok.

Hope this might help someone else.

    Dennis.

It would appear that you deleted the wrong Sat:

Decided didn't want 16e so deleted all the channels, then unticked the satellite.
Rebooted but had 'no signal' message on 19e which was correct.

So that would be a User Error as opposed to a " Spiderbox 6000HD bug "

    Fix:-
Need to save channel list, then do factory reset, then load channel list again.
    All now Ok.

also you only need to do a factory reset after loading a patch

No Aldo, you need to do a factory reset after de-selecting a satellite you no longer want otherwise it still appears in the list of satellites when you press the 'yellow' button.
It is a bug and not a user error because it remains even after you delete all the channels for that satellite.
Once the satellite has been deselcted (unticked) it should not appear in the channel list.

I refer to de-selecting a satellite by unticking it and not completely deleting it from the list of orbital positions.
