    Exclamation Help F100

    My Spiderbox Is Showing F100 Tryed Recovery Tool But Not Working im using a RS232 NULL CABLE Go's up to 100% but not rebooting And f100

    try an xp pc tower or desktop with built in com port, no usb adapters , no vista , no win 7 and no win 8 either, just xp and hard wired com link from a 9 pin fifo com port

    well , if you did everything correctly then the spider is faulty and no longer under warranty

    but also check you used the 7000 file, not the 9000 or 9900 files

    if its the main board then unless you can find a repairman you need a new box

    I too have a faulty 7000 sat in my loft , possibly with a main board issue or tuner issue

    so as its a few years old, time for a new one

    the 7000 has not been on sale by retailers for quite a few years now m8, possibly 3 or 4 years ? , it was superceded by the 9900 and now the 6000

    so there is no way you have a new 7000 that is only a few days old

    it may be a second hand one and new to you but manufactured years ago so its still an old one with no warranty and no guarantee either

    @ johnni , if this box was NEW , its a 6000 not a 7000

    johnni there is confusion as to which Spiderbox you have, if it is new it must be a HD6000 no one has HD7000 new nowadays. Please tell us what model you have and maybe we can help you further.
