    Manual scan of one transponder:
    Menu>Manual Scan>(Enter PIN code if req'd)
Then select Astra 2A/2D (28.2E) for example
Enter the details (or use the left/right arrows to select frequency etc) and on Search Option choose one TP) then 'Start Search'

Many thanks for your prompt reply. Will try as soon as I get home. Must get the spider working. Not able to get the channel that's on 28e broadcasting tonight's match. Rgds.

You also had this reply from Mickha on the other forum where you posted the same request:

    It is very easy.
Press the Spiderbox Menu button, scroll until you see the Manual Scan option, and select it, some advanced menu options are hidden until you press 1 1 1 1 on the remote control, while in the menu.
You might also need to press 0 0 0 0 the default parental code, for some options, I have disabled this feature in the menu options.
Once you have selected the Manual Scan, select which satellite, your dish is pointing at, press the green button, on your remote, and enter the details.
    Frequency
    Symbol Rate
    Polarization
    Modulation
    Pilots OFF
    FEC
    Search Option One TP
If it is a SD, Standard Definition, frequency, then FEC is not required.
Once finished hit the Start Search option.
If you have any problems please post back with details of the channels you're searching for.

When i scanned this on my 9000HD BT Sport for some reason did not pick up on Auto Scan, so i added all details into Manual Scan and it worked, here is full list. Sat Astra 28.2E 12574, 23000, H , DVB-S2 8PSK . Pilot OFF, 1/2. Think the modulation was the key to the success which you move with the ( left , right either side of OK.) on remote. once all set correctly in manual you need to save before you do the scan.
