    Multifeed Help/Advice

Need some advice on what I should replace my current set up with.

    I have a 98cm Funke dish with the Inverto Multiconnect Systems, 4 twin lnb's pointing at 19.2e , 16e, 13e and 9e

The problem is these lnb's are crap in the rain and having had nothing but rain for the last few months my viewing has been sh1t

Dish's and setting them up has never been my strong point but I get by.

What I want to know is what other multifeed options are there ? Do I get a Wave frontier dish ? If yes what size ?

    What Lnb's ?

I got a wave frontier t90, my dad had a motorised dish and has swapped to a wave. Pluses are no waiting for the dish to move etc no moving parts to worry about. the negatives are it's. Very small. A pain to set up once you've got it right it's very good. Never had signal loss in the rain. You can only do a certain span or sats. I only have 28e,19e,13e,10e and 1w.

All depends on what sats you want to get etc

I wouldn't go for a smaller dish. What I mean is by very small I wish you could get a 1.2m wave as 1w i only get 65% where as the rest are all 85%+. Do you plan on adding anymore sats?

No plans for other sats, IPTV seems to be the future, would you stick with the sats I have ?

I only use my says for EPL, I would like to have nilesat but it's too far. Depends where you are in the uk. I'm in Manchester so no chance on a 90cm dish. The best part of it is the switching channels and no waiting.

IPtv does look the way forward but with out the upload speed in the uk it's going to take awhile to take off with high quality streams. I like watching HD. Free IPTV streams are very poor quality. I think there is a thread about IPtv going on somewhere on the forum.

Going back to the dish if your happy with the sats you have then keep it. You seem to having problems with sat signal so maybe try and better lnb first before you purchase a new dish. I don't know much about lnbs I bought the ones someone recommended on here.

    Thanks Stev0

I am in Cornwall so I guess I get a different signal range that you, not really worried what sats I pull in other than 13e and 19.2e

I guess a monoblock would do the trick but I quite like having a couple of other sats to play with.

I have the Smart Titanium Quad Bullets on an 80cm ISS mesh with 13° 19.2° 23.5° and 28.2° east on and never lose the signal these seem to be a better compromise than the Inverto Bullets and probably why i chose these over the bullets as you say Bad weather performance is terrible

I had a spare lying around so just used an extra holder

I used one of those brackets above to hang an lnb on a sly zone 2 dish at my brothers house, picks up 39e nicely with a standard sly lnb
