TomTom 1.3 using more than 1 map in 1 instalation

Hi all I have a samsung galaxy S2 I have South east asia map working, as I spend most
of my time in Thailand at the moment, I have tried to use the uk map from another 1.3
android Tom Tom prog without any luck, I also have tried to run 2 instalations together
no go as both prog folders is named TomTom, Has anyone had 2 mapsets working with
1 instalation of TomTom, or do I have to uninstall 1 and then install the other when I go
back to thailand.

you dont need 2 tomtom folders for maps

your maps are in the files folder on this installation, the uk and ireland map folder is in files and has the uk & ireland maps

this folder needs copying into your phones files folder so you have 2 maps folders in the same directory folder (I assume files folder)

tomtom should detect that there are 2 map folders and let you choose one of them , that is how it works on my tomtom one satnav anyway , but on my tomtom one the maps are placed in the tomtom folder , not a files folder

so try copying the uk and ireland folder from the android uk version into the files folder on your phone

Hi thanks for your reply i did try that and tom tom would not
recognise that there was 2 maps, only the south east asia 1,
Ahh well no big deal I have got another tom tom on
a PPC that i use for UK, still would have been nice to have it working,
I might try a diff map from a diff download if I get the time.

I've got both of these maps on my S4 (going to the Philippines soon). Couldn't get them both to work with one installation, but I have got them both working using two installations.
I've got everything installed onto the memory card, in the folder named " tomtom " there are two more folders named "com.tomtom.southeastasia" & "com.tomtom.ukireland". Both have all their own sub folders, so no conflicting files & both have a separate icon to run the programmes.

Hi Russell1 thanks for that, got my files on the phone
memory will have to try 2 installations again usin your UK
map link, have to visit daughter to use broadband
for downloading as my
virgin simcard dont like downloading big files, its cheap
enough while im in the UK for basic stuff,
