Roadrunner said this in another thread regarding IPTV films.......The links expire in time but if you want you can download the movies that you want to keep now, by copying their address and pasting it in to the browsers address bar (press enter) and select Save File. Then even if they expire you can still watch the movies in the VLC player on your PC

hi all when the iptv channels first came available for the sb I tried recording to usb mem stick or hdd by pressing record on remote (no joy) but I could record via scart to my dvd recorder.
I have not tried the above method of downloading and saving, as my broadband (now sly bt landline is very slow)

    paste this in a terminal

    Code:
    wget -P "/hdd/movie" http://movie-url
that will get you a file

rename that to .mkv or .mp4

Yes they do come from there, I shorten links not to hide the source but to keep the *ipt file tidy and easier to view what`s in it.
For example the page we are on has 62characters in the address , but after using the tiny url it becomes 26 ie: http://tinyurl.com/pzvb8bc
(and the movies have even more characters in the original address
Edit: I tried the IE (for the first time in years) and I can download them all, not that I will, if they expire I will just make meself a new list
    Best Regards,
    Roadrunner
