satellite receiver for 27.5w bbc package

    hi

has anyone information on best receiver to receive 27.5w the bbc channels these channels use a 44.100 symbol rate recievers I have seen recommended
the technomate 5402 and blade bm7000 as very few recievers can receive these channels reason I am asking 28.2 is switching over soon as I am in portugal will be the only way to recieve the bbc and itv.

also to enter keys into the receiver in my case biss keys can they be entered manually directly into the reciever or would i need to use a cam I still have my dragon cam although at least 3 years since used.

The technomate seems to get a lot of favourable comments if i got one can I enter codes into the menu or is it a different method.

    any advice or comments appreciated.

    regards league

It's not worth buying a new box based on the back of a few Biss keys being currently available, as they probably won't last anyway. IPTV is probably your best option if you want BBC & ITV or just move to the UK.

I tested a blade a few weks ago and it definitely worked too, so both boxes work

I checked my spiderbox 7000 and that did not work using the same codes, so clearly there are differences between boxes on this issue

never owned or tested a spider 6000 so no idea if that one works or not, be interesting to know though

I have not a got line of sight to that sat but could someone who has a VU+duo check if they can clear it with the biss keys because it might be worth me putting another dish up with the changes that are coming

thanks for all the replies most helpful I will go with the technomate 5402.
this site lists recievers that are working with 27.5 bbc channels

    Code:
    http://www.pixiesat.com/ENG/satellite/27W_Intelsat_907_27.5W.html
one point member manic01 says I can enter codes manually I assume no need to patch reciever or upload software if someone can let me know.
    many thanks

you can upload channel lists via USB Stick
put channel list CNDF format on USB Stick , insert USB Stick at back of box in usb slot
press Menu > USB > Data Transfer > click on your channel list and it will upload .
to add biss Keys press Menu>system Information > BISS MENU
    or 8281 on remote

no need for any links to info its not difficult or rocket science ..but this info is found on this forum just follow this link for any further info required :

    Hi league

Are you getting the TM box here in Portugal or are you having it sent from the UK ?? I'm also thinking getting one of these myself but so far haven't found anyone selling them locally ...

Probably too late but boxes available and working in Portugal are GI HD mini, Alma S2210, also Icecrypt working and locally available. I have bought in Openbox X5 from UK - the easiest to set up. I found the TM5402 the worst to set up owing to the AAC not being default. I have yet to get a Cloud Ibox working - still looking....
