I had the same dilemma as you last year. Got a solo2. Never looked back. I've never had a duo but would still recommend the solo2 over it. Well worth the extra imho :-)

    Sent from my Lenovo A820

If I had the money I would say that the VU Is a bargain and budget price. Under £200 for that is good (big cheer for sponsor)
A good budget and second box has to be the spiderbox 6000 HD Under£100 and you don't have to be a brain surgeon to put lines on lol

Much depends on your budget. Enigma 2 is not a necessity and depends on what you want to get out of your next receiver and for how long really?

Always best to buy from a trusted source, as for what`s best , it much depends on ones needs and budget. I hear that Nbox recorders modded to run on E2 are excellent value for money at around 120 for twin tuner 250gb recorder, but would I buy one? No If I could afford another box I would spend that little bit extra money and shell out on the Vu from sponsors (for a peace of mind good price tag, warranty, excellent support etc)As of today I have a SPiderbox 6000 and am honestly happy with it. ( over the last few months it paid for itself many times over, and still going strong.
