f3 issue

Hi I have a skybox f3 and up until recently its been working spot on. all of a sudden its lost most channels. the ccam line is fine as I have another box and have no issue. what puzzles me if I deleted old channel list and did a channel scan and most channels then work? when I try to put a new channel list in the channels do not work but if I then rescan again the channels at the end of my list work? I have tried 2 diff channel lists and same issue. i have tottaly deleted all off the box and factory reset and then inputted all back in buy all still the same.

A very puzzled me is hoping this has happened to one of you in the past and you could shed some light.

Post some channels and their freqs that dont work please.
Also is there a signal showing.
Make sure lnb in settings is set to 9.750-10.600 universal.

i seen this issue with skyboxes before. i would recommend that you get the latest channel list and then get the latest patch for the box. flash the box with the latest patch and then load the channel list and see what happens

ok when I go into tp i get good and bad signals on both?

11603 27500 v =sky livingit
11565 27500 v = sky livingit +1
11856 29500 v = e4hd

a couple of hotizontal ones too 11469 27500 h

but when i put other box on its fine I get all channels?

just gunna re patch now

ok flashed the box with the latest patch and a new channel list and still the same. just swap boxes and all works perfect? im lost ha ha

Living tp's are wrong to start with check king of sat or lyngsat/flysat


Make sure you have upto date list and your lnb is set to universal 9750-10600

thats what living is on my other box!! it shows that on bottom when i put channel on unless thats not how to read the tp? im not sure. lnb is set as above. and other box works fine from same sat connection. must be a faulty box

I'm not sure this is the case with you because you said it was a recent problem but the openbox/skyboxes had a issue with sly installed zinwell lnb's, that when other boxes were connected to the lnb led to loss of channels, you can try disconnecting other boxes using same lnb and see if it solves you problem if it does then you have 2 solutions either change lnbs or look for no signal diode fix on a well known auc**ion site or make one your self.

i have 2 dishes and same on both so know its not lnb as they are only boxes connected to it. will the no signal diode work even tho the other box does? or is it to fix a box fault? cheers for all help everyone

The settings are wrong in stb.
Lnb is set wrong in stb.
Your tp's are wrong.

how are settings wrong and how a]is the lnb settings wrong? the lnb is as you said it should be? tried numerous channel lists but all work on one box but not on other?

TP on your stb that you your self posted were incorrect.

the ones I posted are the same as the ones in my other box and thats working fine? sorry if im saying same thing ova n ova but at a standstill. how do i change the tp? cheers

TP on them are wrong, which means if you get a signal and channel on the wrong freq then the lnb is set up wrong in the stb.

Have you checked lyngsat flysat etc to see correct tp?

Impossible as the frequency you have listed for Living are not in use and are dead so the other box cant be working on them

As you can see from pic frequency on Sky now goes from 11426 and the next one is 11719 see pic

If lnb is set different it can lol as it will misread the tp freq.
