    Enigma 2 = files to into usr/keys and usr/scce.

Send the files across with ftp to the appropriate files on the solo2. The files softcam.key is the file where the latest keys are kept. Should you want to manually edit the keys. Right click on the hand window, softcam.key. Open the file in notepad and edit the keys manually. Exit and save to update the file. ,,,,,,,iv,e found the mgcamd works better than cccam for opening keys..

Clines are in a different file and folder.

Paste the biss keys into the SoftCam.Key file.
FTP the SoftCam.Key file to /usr/keys and /usr/scce
Restart CCcam from the Blue Panel.

Note: the file name is case sensitive and must be saved as SoftCam.Key

BISS is an encryption system that uses session keys , these have been extracted from the stream and are shared publicly so you can unscramble the channels .

BISS keys are put into the constant.cw file which cccam also reads like the softcam.key file .

Don't know about you turbo but this has really helped me. Still not sorted, mind, but have some clues as to how to get biss going (eg didn't know about scce or case-sensitivity naming SoftCam.Key

    Thanks fellas

    keys

I read this post and find myself becoming frustrated with the answers , one person says one bit and then its contridicted by someone else.

Can someone who knows what there are talking about please just give a full answer to the question.

Where do you put the keys ????

I myself am trying to learn how to use keys in solo2 with cccam and have the keys in

No one has mentioned about how to command the cam to look, if it needs to be in two different places what do you do.?????
for example this command doesnt mention the locations some are mentioning?????
Its hard enough to do this when you are learning without getting half hearted answers with only bits here and there.

    ie

    SOFTKEY FILE : /var/keys/SoftCam.Key
    AUTOROLL FILE : /var/keys/AutoRoll.Key
    STATIC CW FILE : /var/keys/constant.cw

its complicated by the fact that different emus use different key files, also complicated due to knowing if the VPID is used or the PMT for the idents, and BB on 27.5w is even worse as the PMT are encrypted so need more work and maybe use oscam ymod too , plus openpli 4 seems to give the best results - so complicated it is , yes

here is a good discussion thread for linux users

    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...27-5w-Intelsat

plenty of good info in there but not for newbies, especially if that newbies is trying to open BBC on 27.5w

whereas not too bad if trying mutv or mgm-me on 10e or fox sports on 9e

I have never had any luck with cccam or mgcam , so am messing about with oscam and managed to get those 3 open after days of messing about on a linux box running VIX apollo
