    Sony KDL-32EX403 Service menu

    Hi
I have a Sony KDL-32EX403 and it is doing some strange things from time to time (changing channel on its own, no on screen displays, switching its self off then on, being very slow to responded to commands from the remote etc.)
Does anyone know if there is a service menu I can get into or how to a factory reset. I am hoping this will sort it out.
    Thanks.

Does you user manual not indicate how to get into the service menu, try reading the info ref i-Manual in the link below:

    Hi Aldo
Thanks for the link. No the manual does not tell you how to get in to the service menu and the trouble shooting guide is of no use as the power LED does not flash as described. I was hoping if |I could do a full factory reset that may sort things out.

Messing with settings in the service menus should be done with great care, found this for Sony Bravia tvs so may work for you.

    Hi bnc,

    Check at (www.at800.tv) see
if any 4g mobile masts have
    been switched On.

    I bought a 4g 800 MHz filtter
    at Mat@alns £14.99.
    Had a freeview picture problem
    since new (LG 55LM760T).
It knocked you out of the armchair
with its bangs and picture brake up.
scanned my area and found, three
    mobile signals at 500 mhz.
    1800 mhz. 2100mhz, and one
    4G 800 MHz signal.

    No Problem with Tv since.
    Have found a marked
    improvement in Picture
    clarity and sharpness with
    4G 800 MHz filter.

    BF.

    Hi TK4 2 1,

    I have a 40" Sony that started
to Loose Signal ( NO SIGNAL) In
    sunny weather, Turn to standby
    (By Its self ?)
Its never turned On itself (Yet).
Fitted 4G 800 MHz Filter and now
Sony as well as not losing Signal
    does the shopping.
4G is no problem to Satellite or Cable
    just Freeview.

    BF.
