Softcam ?

Hi all, ive loaded the latest softcam file to my HD9000 but nothing clearing.. Anyone having any probs with latest file? Any pointers to anything i can do would be help.

just used it on 39e and cleared nova sport and diema

Have you turned the UCAS & UCAS Autoroll, ON in the key edit menu.

this is the first time you mentioned it in this thread, did you think this info wasnt relevant ?

and yes , orf HD and hustler open fine using it as it says UCAS on screen when I press the info button

Thanks Echelon, but i dont have the Key edit menu to change them over. In the USB menu my options are common interface, initialising and network. Not sure what is intialising but i cannot enter that part of the menu.

When i go into menu and select sub menu Accessory i get the choice of USB/Common interface/Initialising/Network. I think Key Edit should be where it is saying 'initialising' ?? My firmware is dated the March 2012 which is the latest. Any ideas why i cannot see the Key Edit sub menu?? Thank you

you have not initiated the patch even though you have patched it with last years patch
this is all fully detailed in the tutorials in the tutorials section

highlight the network section in orange (accessory/network) but dont press ok on the network setting
now press 1111 and keyedit will appear above it

now reset the keydata within keyedit and turn on both UCAS, then load in the HDsoftcam again and it should now work

its always worth reading those tutorials as you may well learn something, especially when its not working properly

Thanks Echelon, all up and running now. It was the 1111 menu that i'd forgotten about. Will check the guides next time.
