softcam for VU+Solo2

Hi ,
trying to find out the best way to get the softcam for all into VU+Solo2.
Do I use USB or should I use the DCC? If I use the DCC were do i put the softcam ie TMP or ECT or VAR folder any help welcome.

I am using VU latest own image.
I have 3 Cams installed CCcam 2.2.0 / 2.3.0 and Oscam-CCcam-2.
I have the latest Softcam for all which i tested on my Clarktec via USB stick.
I am trying to find out the best way to get the Softcam into the VU+Solo2.So I can open 39 East.

use DCC and FTP to var/ keys
you might need constant cw file aswell with ccam sonic 1 will confirm

Vucc 0.6 or an ftp program like flash fxp can also be used for ftp work

My advice is get rid of the original image and load Black Hole, VIX or VTi image.
The original is OK for FTA but that's it.

if using Win7 and above you dont actually need any FTP program, Just click the start button goto Computer and at the top enter ftp://192.168.#.## your ip address and your in.

just tried tried your settings still black screen.
I am farmiliar with DCC: but not used VUCC

as sonic1 pointed out , you need the patched v3 vix image, or bh or one of the others on the box

then it depends on the emu used as to which of those 2 files is required

I had BlackHole image on but took it off as I could not get any recordings to work on it.
I have all 3 CCcams installed with the VU Image and can open all on 28 east with c/*
But thought there was an easy way to open 39 east and 10 east with the softcam.

tried mounting it but just would not recognise it (I am using a Verbatin 250mb Usb drive)
As I said its working ok in the VU image.

Just tried Simons 2003
softcam in VU+Solo2 still black screen on 10 east and 39 east.

( CCcam doesn't support Irdeto II )
So I use MGcamd 1.38 when i want to open Bulsat on 39e


CCcam is fine for opening PLTV HD on 10e
but having examined the above Softcam Key file (there are 3 different Keys for PLTV HD on 10e
and none are the current one)
Simon 2003 probably uses "constant.cw" file to open PLTV HD as he has BH image installed on his box.

You can try this softcam which is created by MinicatKeys updater from the plugin satangels-updater

Extract Softcam.key file and FTP to /usr/keys

I know you have tried BH and have had some issues with accessing your Movies,
maybe you would have better sucess with VIX image on your Solo2
I find the Original Images are limited to say the least.

Still black screen do I need to unplug the ethernet cable to stop c/* files? interfearing with the MGcamb 1.38.If I cant get it sorted on the Solo2 I will conect up my old VU+solo and install the
VIX or VTi image then if i get that running, with the best image I will install on the Solo2 as long as I can record ok.

and manual install using remote control

Run the key updater either from plugins or Extensions (short blue press)
select minicat keys
select MGcamd keys (which i find works well for CCcam & MGcamd emu)

Sorry its taken so long to get back to you Compass,
I extracted satangels to tmp folder as you said then I went to main menu/setup/
software management/install local extensions (is this right) but could get no further so put satangels on stick and put it in that way and it is installed went to minicats MGcamb and updated ok but still black screen on 39 east but 10 east is open ok.
cant understand why 39 east won't open Good 70% signal.
I think it was catseyes settings I put on.
