I have not fully tested but seems to work on AZbox HD Enigma 2 - 3.3.1

unzip the folder, and FTP to your receiver in

usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions

restart enigma

This will work within the UK only

thats a timeout problem from enigma2 url

if you add an import socket of 300 seconds like we have done in the playstreamer this will stop the gsods for you if the link is slow to respond.

otherwise its a recode of gstreamer.

the files that don't play still don't and freddie, bless him, still gsods

I get GSOD too on Amiko Alien 2 (SH4) using OpenAR-P image (python 2.7).
Different crashlogs each time too :(

works ok on Alien 2 with sat station image, only get green screen when trying to play hd

Yes, the SatSation image uses python 2.6, the open AR-P uses Python 2.7.

However, I've now discovered that this is not the issue.
I believe it is caused by a different streaming method in different SH4 images. Hopefully a fix can be found.

I have had few problems running it on Azbox Premium.

Image = OpenRSI 3.0
Kernal = 3.3.1
Image = 10.01.13

Have you UK IP address ?

Also did you create a folder called BBCiplayer in - usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions and FTP the files over into this folder.

Restart box > go to plugins and run from there.

I've just got this working on my Amiko Alien 2 (SH4) box usinfg latest OpenPli Hybrid (21.01.13) image.
This is the only image I've tested in which iplayer works on this box.
There are lots of "GST" files in usr/bin which I've not seen in other images. I think these must be needed for rmtp gstreamer support.
