my tv asked me to re-scan yesterday re freeview, after doing this it has now started pixelating on my particular regional ITV, BBC channels,i,ve also got to set my built in wireless again what a pain!!

It may help if you were to say which region you are referring to, as other members from you region may/or may not have the same problems.

Male-orientated Dave is moving from channel 19 to channel 12, swapping channel numbers with historical drama and do***entary channel Yesterday.
Meanwhile female-orientated channel Really is moving from channel 20 to channel 17, with the Top Up TV subscription service Gold moving to channel 20.
It is not known what will happen to Dave Ja Vu, currently on channel 25, or if there will be any changes to the one-hour a week Top Up TV version of UKTV's Home channel on 26.
The moves are part of the planned 19th September 2012 Freeview EPG reshuffle. Original plans for the reshuffle did not indicate any changes for the UKTV channels and saw no change to channels 1-47 on Freeview. Digital terrestrial TV platform manager

My samsung smart TV now pixleates too after doing the rescan, there are also new HD streaming channels coming which it tells me I can't receive, only tv's made in the last couple of months are able to get, what a waste of time, my tv is still less than a year old, I am in the Granada region
when finishing your scan make sure to scroll down to the transmitter in your area, i missed this hence pixelation from wrong mast.
