To install this image please be sure that you are using AZUp 2.2.4

This is first Open AZBox MOD Image for AZBox HD Elite, Premium, Premium+ and Ultra which is running on new 3.4.4 Kernel. Open AZBox MOD Images are fully based on OpenPLi 2.1 Enigma 2 Opensource Project.

In future you can expect more features including support for blindscan, and USB DVB-T tuners, as now we achieved same level as new AZBox receivers, as now AZBox HD devices are also running on new kernel.

This image include all latest changes from OpenPLi team.

Please test it, use it and give us your feedback. We would like to ask you to don't put here, question when will something be supported or added in image, as you can believe that we are working from day to day to put as much as possible more features in E2 and kernel as well.

Keep in mind that some comments we will not threat as bug's, like some users posted about video scalling options, as we already know about that and we work on that, so soon or later it will be added, don't worry.

We are also working on AZPlayer for all models, so soon you can expect it. For now there is Enigma 2 Media Player which you can locate by Menu -> Plugins -> Media Player

Now not implemented:

• Blindscan
• CI-Modul
• 0/12V output for LNB-Control
• Card reader not accessible
• AV Settings Pan&Scan and pillarbox do not work
• WIFI

Bug:

• No EPG - only in Infobar
• Timeshift - rewind does not work. However, 1/4/7 and 3/6/9 to jump well.
• Additional recording on the same transponder is not possible. With second tuner on Premium+ OK, if this recorded program is at an other transponder. Also looking a third program no problem, even if all 3 programes are HD channels.
• Recordings coils up to 128 times is good. Rewind, but no matter, equal what setting is only about 2 times and then stops it after some time. But with 1/4/7 and 3/6/9 jump well.
• A lot of movies (avi, mpg) will not work for me.

PEOPLE DONT FLASH BACK OPENRSI IN RECEIVER UNTIL WE RELEASE NEW AZUP 2.2.5

Open RSi TEAM DIDNT PUT Kernel: field in their patch.e2 and this is killing receivers!

I can confirm that Azup v2.2.4 refuses to load (type mismatch error) previous RTi core / OpenRSI images.You have to use older version of Azup to go back from OpenAzbox image.

Personnally, I'll wait for a new version of JazUP (v2.7 ?) in order to flash my receiver ...

az premium, using Spaze 2.2 quantum. If I flash OpenAZBox PLiMOD HD Prerelease ,will it be possible to return to the Spaze image,should I whish to do so? Thank you in advance.

Yes this should be possible. But use new Azup 2.2.5.

Thank you Zeini,will try it tomorrow and keep ye posted. My curiosity got the better of me, couldn't wait,installed OpenAZBox PLiMOD HD, successfuly, one problem,no audio on any channels.Tried restarting GUI,switched power off-on,still no sound.Any advice welcome.
