    747p_Phantompatch-TM6800-6900HDSuper_05-07-2012 feedback

One more new patch,747 is released today by Phant0m : https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...5-07-2012-747p
By reading its included info (1-After download save your setting then factory reset/2-Test all problem and write your comments please) it looks quite promising cocerning the known C+NL & PLTV troubleshots.
I wish I could test it,I do miss my 6900 HD,but I had to give it to my daughter.
I hope some other mates here will bother to do it instead.

    and factory reset
pltv settled down at last not jerky
no problems changing sattelites or quick zapping
seems to be a stable patch
recording is ok and does not lose old recordings

There is intermittent freezing on some French SD channels. I have noticed this on France 3, 4, 5, 0 and W9

Hi mate, dont forget that this is a 'test' patch anyway and is provided for only the Super models (TM6800 and 6900HD Super) at present, so we may still see further improvement once Phantom & co have analysed all the replies they get about THIS patch!!:respect-055:

Just found that Sly Italia 13E not opening for me, using patch 747P with 8281, but it does on patch 737P!
Sly UK 28E and Sly Germany 19E opening fine, Nova 13E fine, C+ Scandinavia 1W fine, D+ 19E AND 30W & Cabo 30W all fine too - so why just Sly Italia a problem, maybe Phantom will sort it?:respect-055:

NB: Sly Italia 13 E DID end up opening - but it took over 5 mins and the same again when I changed to another channel!
The other Sly packages on 19E & 28E opened instantly - as did all the other packages mentioned above!!

NB: Went back to patch 726P this time (instead of 737P) - as the 8281 option not working properly with patch 747P, but had tried everything out as requested by Phantom so could do no more - and everything working fine again, except of course items not catered for on patch 726P such as Bulsat 39E!:respect-055:

Have noticed there are changes to PVR on 747p: On selecting files, it only displays recordings made with its self or 746p nothing before. Going back to 746p restores full list!
Going back approx to patches at beginning of the year the size of the .trp files was upped from approx 1.5 Gb to 2.1GB. This means that the progress bar now does not work properly on earlier (1.5 Gb .trp) when the recording requires .001 or higher files.
Also arround the same time the "Play" button stopped working, only brings up progress bar, have to use "OK" button to start playback now. (This "Play" button problem also present on the TM6902 T2 version as well, latest 122p on that unit can see no difference to previous versions).

    Cheers Ken H

Lets all hope Phantom and TM have absorbed all the feedback both here and elsewhere to provide us with the much hoped-for 'Universal' patch, which would open everything available for everyone on all TM receivers!:respect-013:

    @Holmroad

Absorbing the information on this last update seems to take an eternity....got some things right with this patch like C+ NL but then and again some things that was working on previous patches got messed up like France package freezing and so on so when will that elusive perfect patch ever be done for this receiver......and will patch 748p make its debut in the not too distant future?

Hi Tony, yes mate - all of this only serves to tell Technomate that they had better get their act together and provide us all with a more 'universal' patch (which will open EVERYTHING now available, especially on softcam), sooner rather than later - or accept the consequences that their mega amateurish actions of this past year will only turn people off them in their droves!:driving:
