Anyone here have this box? It's priced quite reasonably and uses Dreambox's Enigma software too.
Is this box better than the cheap openbox?
I currently still have a Dreambox 500, time to upgrade to HD.
Any help would be much appreciated, with regards to ease of use and reliability etc.

I'd advise you to do some research about that receiver. Even the hard core fans of Technomate linux have been complaining bitterly about it's deficiencies and lack of a proper working image. Search the web.
Thank you Anrakh. Back to openbox it is! :( Dboxs and Vuu boxes too expensive unless a clone, which are dodgy!
What about the Gigablue box, much better than the dodgy Openbox.
You can get the HD800 Solo bow for under £130. The support for this box is getting much better.
The teams currently writting images for these boxes are
Ream Red, HDFreaks, OpenMips, OpenAAF, Italysay and as of today SIF also. The box is still a little glitchhy but its getting alot better.
I've had mine 6 months and the inprovement in the firmware has been really noticable. Its becoming a really usable box :001_302:
