Not all information on ********* is correct as the reception maps are compiled from feedback,

In the UK we can only get Badr-4 with a 100cm dish,

Badr-5 & 6 require a 240 cm dish in West London & due to the distance Wales is from the intended service area your chances of reception even with a 300cm dish is remote but not impossible.

Maybe this info will of some help to members with queries ref dish sizes required to receive these Sats.

Well its about right. In Sheffield area I have clear line of sight to 26e but no amount of tweaking on a 1 metre dish will get better than 65 per cent sig quality. On a filthy day like today, its down to 35 per cent and picture dropping out.

Normally get excellent picture with 1mtr dish in north Es***. But today for some reason its down to 45% on MBC 1-2-3 etc.?

I get some Badr 6 Transponders on a 1.2 M dish in West London.
11747v - fades only at 8am to 11am with slight rain margin in the evenings.
11785v - fades 8am to 3pm.
11823v - locks only at 6-7pm.
11862v - locks 5pm to 9pm.
Some other transponders are close to locking but the dish is not big enough.
