    c4HD transponder change ?

    hi

    anyone know where c4 HD has gone as it appears to have changed transponders overnight

    its on my sly HD box ok, but not my spiderbox

    I cannot see any changes listed at kos or lyng sat websites

    Just checked CH4 HD is on 11127 V 22000

    mine was blank on that transponder

    turns out they have changed the modulation to dvb-s qpsk from dvb-s2 qpsk

    I checked CH4 HD on my VU+UNO and couldn't see any change, but after your reply i checked CH4 HD on my Spiderbox and as you say there was a change in modulation which needed to be corrected on The Spider's

    Wouldn't scan on 11127 on my Dreambox but did on 11126.

    fec also changed from 2/3 to 5/6

    Im guessing by moving to DVB S2 it will improve quality?

    Maybe this in preparation to add more HD channels to the line up

    There was talk of film 4 HD launching on satellite as its only available at present on cable services

    CH 4 HD - 11126 v 22000sr Fec 5/6 DVB S QPSK

    A Quick manual TP Scan of that freq sorted it out for me but its kinda messed up my EPG again i hate it when these channels chop and change so much i wish they'd just leave it be and quit messing about it dont even really look like proper HD Now maybbe 720p perhaps ? ..LOL'S !!

    It's changed to DVB-S to accomodate the new 4Seven catchup channel thats launching soon

    okay thnx for info's dave-h i guess that explains the change will keep an eye out for this new channel aswell ,
    ive sorted EPG again now and had n/p at all finding again CH4 HD on manual TP scan thnx to above posters .

    Just checked it Icecrypt 4000 and changed automatically to new settings.
