Hi,
Since I switched off the power for 30 minutes, the Echostar 3600 will no longer power-up.
It seems to be a PSU fault.
Does anyone have any ideas as to which components need replacing ?
TIA !

If the PSU was never repaired before, a good start would be to replace ALL capacitors on the board.
Generally, the electrolytic capacitors feeding the DC voltages to the receiver proper are the prime suspects on the AD3600/3000ip series. That's the ones clustered at the bottom of the power supply (where the DC supply cable connector goes out to the main board).
Many thanks for your replies.
I will try what what you said.
