I have seen it all now!!

I have just come off *******,where I was watching a Squire Telecaster used item of course,
you can buy one of these brand new for £120/130, the 15th bid was £67.05, my bid which was
with 1 minute to go was £72 +£18 postage, @ the last minute a bid of £165 + £18 won the auction,
can anyone tell me the logic behind that, my first impression was perhaps he did not want to sell.
and he got someone to bid for it....how on earth can that be right m8s

Google Hammer Snipe and you'll understand how it's done.

Seen this quite a few times on the bay of e,people seem to get online auction fever and just bid like maniacs
Some will never learn and serve them bl**dy right.

If you have it in your watch list have a look at the feedback left in the next week or so.
He may have had a friend bid on it to increase the price with no intention of buying it.
If that is the case he will have shot himself in the foot.
Feedback will be interesting to read.
    Regards

Do a search on "shill bidding" . You'll see what can happen .

    Hello,
Done a little research on this character and he seems to make a living out of this type of thing,
he sold a supposed antique banjo for £350, the poor guy who purchased it is still awaiting a refund,
he also sold another guitar which never arrived, how on earth ******* allow a pr*ck like him sell on
******* is beyond me,just goes to show whenever buying, check out the seller thoroughly.

Always do your research by looking through the feedback before you bid or buy an item off the bay of e

Perhaps there should be a name and shame site for 3bay jokers - but then they'd just change their ID.

BTW, if 3bay/Paypal can't get the money back from the seller, then the poor buyer will not get a refund - or to put it another way, 3Bay Buyer Protection is ****e and not worth the paper it is written on.

Fraudulent sellers usually string out delivery for as long as possible then promise a refund (when the goods are not as advertised) and again they delay that. At the end of that process, it becomes too late to leave negative feedback thus their feedback rating can look quite good.
