HELP NEEDED - Channels with No Transponder details

    I have an ET9000 running VIX (Enigma2).
I have an issue with some of the channels, mainly the Sky SD channels, but not all of them. When I flick through the Info Bar channels for a number of different bouquets, a number of the channels have no transponder details even though they have an EPG. When you select the channel, you get the error "service unavailable! check tuner configuration". Then the channel then shows up as DVB Service on the Info Bar.

I can only point at Astra 28.2E at the moment as I have a fixed dish, but all my issues are with the Sky Bouquets!

I have downloaded the latest list of channels and bouquets etc. and FTP'd then into the /etc/enigma2 folder (with permissions 644)
When I go into Setup -> Service Searching -> Automatic Scan, it does not correct the issue
    A manual Scan using:
    Type of Scan = multisat
    Astra Eurobird.. = enabled
    Network Scan = yes
    Clear before scan = yes

Still does not fix the issue.

A manual scan of a single transponder, such as 12110H, still does not bring back Sky Sports 2 which is one channel that has an issue and I believe is on that transponder!!!!

Please can anyone tell me where the problem is and how I can troubleshoot it.

It is my tuner that is not scanning properly?
    Is it my EPG?
Is it my channel list and bouquets etc in /etc/enigma2?
Am I missing something really simple?

At this point I'm lost and need some help PLEASE....

Did you remember to FTP the satellites.xml file from your new channel list to the /etc/tuxbox folder?

Once you've uploaded the new list you have to reboot the receiver before your new list will work.
