    Has my wireless gone dead?

Just flashed to new Spaze 2.0 and until then i was connecting wirelessly with RTi 1.3 - after flashing to new Spaze, the wireless module seems to of died. Signal strength is -121 dBm and encryption states Unsupported. Has anyone else had this and could anyone confirm if it is the module that has died.

Hi there Enzofielt!! Was worried that my box had turned into an unwanted FTA box - but hopefully the team will come up with a quick answer.

For sure you are not the only one, i send your crashlog to Spaze. I hope they find something to get this fixed also.
I gues you have tryed a reflash also, maybe something went bad the first time.
Most of time these are driver problems, from my experiance with the azbox is that every new install can fix problem or create problems.

Will try jazup 2.3 today when the kids have gone to school!! Interestingly, went back to Spaze 1.0 late last night and wireless is now working! At least it's not my box - i won't have to throw it!

Never tried jazup - will download and look at it - is it as simple as azup?

just to give my experience. Came up with the same problem. no wifi -121 and encryption unsupported. changed encryption on router, channel, removed encryption nothing.
    Finally what worked was this:
    1. Shutdown azbox premium HD while I was in the wireless network configuration
    2. Enabled Wired interface (was disabled).
    3. Made default wireless.
    Voila Wifi was up again.

zeini - it took me half an hour before it worked! unplug all power sources (including ext hdd if you have one - mine was a powered ext hdd) when on the wireless configuration screen. Plug back in, go back to wireless configuration and scan your wireless router - hey presto it should work!

Got to mention that this image is very well done apart from these hicups so cudos to Spaze. Especially the media center is modded with a few very welcome goodies.
