Yes, seems that your bootloader is corrupted !
Even if i didn't understant very well your post.
i actually get screen saying ypbpr,which is a video connection,goes to loading bar and near finish,stop and just display that
are you talking about the w i z ard startup menu ?
no on boot up,now goin no further than dream multimedis with red power light on,tryning to get it back with dream enum
Reflash your box, with the suitable image !

ill try tomorrow on me lads pc,lappie i havent got a usb/rs 232 conector,his pc has,didnt think ye could do it unless ye get a stop screen,been trying my other 800 last week that way but capacitor burnt out in that one,i struggle to get anything on the boot screen ,just flickers most of the time(the screen)
