    Help with box id

    Am trying to use my sky uk card in my dm800 have what I believe is my correct box id, but I get everything including hd package except sky sports 1-4 and sky movies. I have used both the serial number in the menu of sky box and also the number on the sticker on the bottom of the box and have a match which makes me believe I have my box id. Have also entered my pin number to Eliminate this too. Everything points to the box id being incorrect from what I'm reading online but can't see why i get a match using 2 different ways to retrieve my box id.

    Take your boxid under the skybox, then convert it to hexa !
    Google for n*d*s box key generator !

    Or use Oscam, no need for boxkey.

    in your browser login to your dreambox ip like the following

    _http://192.168.0.15:8080/users.htm
    where ip 15 is the box fixed ip , change to your box ip as required as it does vary amongst routers

    this will give you your control panel for oscam

    select readers

    then in action , second from left select show entitlements if you wish to read entitlement expiry dates etc

    this will prove its working ok

    now restart oscam and look in status and I think its displayed at the start

    first of all are all your channels now opening ?

    to get your box id go to;
    Code:
    http://your.dreambox.ip:8080/readers.html
    then click on 'show entitlement' under the action section
    this will give you the information you want and also show you when your entitlements are due to expire

    cheers echelon
    I must start learning to type with two fingers, it would be so much quicker !

    yes you're correct
    Code:
    [webif]
    httpport                      = 8080
    httpuser                      = username
    httppwd                       = password
    httpallowed                   = 192.168.x.xx
    where 192.168.x.xx is your pc ip
