yes recorded a film (cs) and played back fine....even played back in webinterface via laptop over wireless!!

has anybody tested 1080p mkv files with this image.My box has been dead for about 18 months,didn't realise i had 2 years warranty left on it,contacted opensat and their customer support has been first class.coming back to me this week,but i need a firmware that doesn't have issues with mkv playback

Streaming is perfect with my Premium+. Now I can also stream at 2nd Tuner. This was not possible with further fw for me.

You probably have a network problem , or a PC problem
Because that works for me with an Elite, on both tuners

i just instal mozilla and vlc when i instal vlc i cliclk to instal mozilla addon

a few things ive noticed....

in media player - the coloured fast forward \ rewinds etc buttons do nothing. Nor does the real handset fast fwd \ rwd (does denote a symbol on the tv but doesnt do anything)

With what movies fast fwd \ rwd do not work?
If you mean with recorded stream (.ts), this is unfortunately normal now. Reason is, in .**** file line 6 and 7 is 0. Here should be start and stoptime.

I think Sattommy hasn't implamented jump with 3,6,9 or rejump with 1,4,7, in this release.

Streaming SD channels seem to be working OK ,
HD only work for a few seconds
any way to test bandwidth ?
AZ premium wifi > router> lan cable to PC ?

You can use the "MENU" button. There you can give the time you want to go to.

With search-button you can also directly give the time you want to go to. But this and also fast forward or fast backward isn't possible with recorded movies, recorded by this firmware.
