    Astra 1C @ 2.0 East

I have been told that this sat (although in inclined orbit) carries many feeds for ITV especially sports events

    _http://www.lyngsat.com/astra1c.html carries all transponders details

Anyone had any sucess in watching stuff on this bird? As ive not tried it myself yet

    Cheers

Yes it is perfectly fine when it is in the arc. Just been watching Doncaster - Leeds 1st half but once a couple of degrees out of it then it's more difficult without an inclined orbit setup. Also seems that the max inclination is greater than it used to be so don't know how much longer it will go on.

just on about this in another thread ,like you say its inclined see here _http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/astra1c.html
at 4.5° which is quite alot, you will probably get it depending on dish size to about 1° north to south maybe 45 mins at a time if your lucky, unless you have the equipment to track the inclination, quite annoying really as seems to have alot of championship feeds on nowadays

normally evening is the best time, but i sometimes get the footie on a saturday afternoon.i'm quite lucky in the respect that my dish is at a level where i can reach it to alter the inclination.
