    MCAS for V1.09.20

This is a tested and working Mcas for Icecrypt S4000 and STC6000 Firmware version V1.09.20.
It has been tested with Via**ess and Ird*to cards only.
I simply don't have a working white card to test it with.

It might be worth checking what signal level yve on this channel. I had similar problem with a different provider and it was due to weak signal. I had to reposition the dish and it fine now.

I have observed that Mcas on my s4000 does not always start even though is set to autostart. Some of the recordings end up being a black screen and there is a $ sign by the file name. Has anybody experienced a similar problem? Any tips how to remedy this would be welcome.

I am on Irdeto and the signal level is 75%. I have no problem viewing the following four channels: TVBN, TVBS Junior, TVBS Drama and TVBS Lifestyle. The Mcas is set to Auto and yet only the TVBS Europe is scrambled. I forgot to mention that the TVBS Europe will start up when the switch at the back of the machine is reset. But the signal will go back to scrambled when I switch to another channel and tried to view it again. I will then have to go to Plugin and stop and start the Mcas again to get the TVBS Europe channel. I have tried to upgrade to latest firmware 1.09.25 and also latest Mcas dated July 4th 2011. There is something in Mcas that is not allowing me to watch all five TVBS channels. Please advise.

Do you have it on first position? There is a bug in last few fw versions - mcas doesnt work properly with channel on first place.

Hi, yes you are right. The channel is on first position. I have tried to move the channel to other positions but it is still scrambled whereas the other four channels are unscrambled. Please show me how to fix this. Thanks.

Hi Fixer, it seems to work as you said. I put a FTA on channel one and follow by the TVBS channels and all five are now unscrambled. Thank you for your help and advise.
