I have a dm 800hd and it's my second attempt to get my internal harddisk to work with no joy. Basically I want an image which has good support for my harddisk, epg's and cccams. I was looking at the oozoon image. Any recommendations will be appreciated. My sim is 201, 76c and gemini. Thanks.

Hi eddman,
first, maybe you should rename your post to "Best image for clone 800hd"
as that is what you are looking for.
next, you do not have a dm800hd you have a clone 800hd (this is very important because some original images will not work with clones)
I can't help you with which image you should try but it should be one made or modified for a clone and your particular sim/bootloader
I can however advise you Not to try OoZooN as this image is for original box's only
St.Oauthenticity certificate check (by Dr.Best) <- this image will only work on original dmm hardware!
When I goto menu, plugins and select genuine dreambox a window appears saying genuine dreambox with a 12 figure code which keeps changing when I press test again at the bottom of the screen. Does this mean it's genuine? I'm just a novice with this so please go easy on me, Thanks.
And one other thing, has the Dm800hd got some kind a of systems restore like on pc's where you can bring it back to the date it was working properly, because eversince I fitted my samsung internal hard disk and initialized it I get a green screen saying your dreambox has a software problem ever time I restart, try to add channels and switch off. It can't update the channel list and does not show any hd channels on the list.

First: take a look on your bill (how much did you pay)
second: note the numbers, go to dream multimedia :and confirm that you have a clone.Code:https://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/en/authenticity-test
Third: get rid of, and buy an original
I'm not having a pop at you for owning a clone (each to their own)
but this sort of gives the game away that this is what you've got.
I also suspect it didn't come from Goldwafers and didn't cost you in the region of £400 if you purchased it new.
but you do need to know that Genuine box's and clone box's use different images

It cost me under £200 and just tested on the link you provided and got no confirmation to say it was genuine. We all know what that means then. Anyway I will try to find a suitable image for my clone. Thanks for the advice and help.
By the way, is there any way you can restore my clone back to a couple of days or even a week?
only if you previously did an image backup two days or a week earlier
(assuming flash backup plugin works on a clone ?)

No, unfortunately I didn't do a backup but I want a decent image to show a 7 day sly epg anyway. And I've just been looking around and found out that Nabilo Blackhole image is clone compatible and has a 7 day epg for sly.
just make sure the image you choose is compatable with YOUR clone
different image versions for different sim's/bootloaders

I have tested many original dreamboxes and never had any hard disk problems even with older images. There is a chance that your problem is not image related. However you can try with an other image and maybe you will solve your problem.
can say i have been running iCVS on mine since late December, so a bit of any old image now, but it has been faultless,not crashed, spend its life on with a card no issues there, the fan on top never seems to cut in, so running nice and cool, recieves from friends with same machine just as well.
Infact been too good compared to my old tm9100 just dont want to touch it incase something goes wrong, never though it would be so stable a bit of kit. Worth the extra cost of a dm

I will use the unofficial dream elite v.133dv3 phoenix edition, the rar file which I have says sim201-SSL76c-de-133dv3PHOENIX-dm800-20092010.rar which has the nfi file inside.
Now I haven't looked yet but do we have a sticky on this forum giving instructions on how to flash the image on the dream box clone. Just to let you know that I've never flashed an image before.
You have posted in the dm800hd image section. If you look at the normal 800hd section you will find what you need.

but started havin a few freeze problems and incorrect channel info
to what was being shown on screen.
so decided to try a different image.
iv'e installed Dream Elite BH 1.3.3 OE1.6 DM800 Multiboot
But the server seems to be down for downloads.
