    Tune failed

My dm800 hd clone was running fine till recently been getting tune failed. Done some search tried changing image, bought fan to cool down but still same problem. Am now thinking of changing tuner but am bit confused on wether any tuner will work or I have to use rev k like what is on there? Or is there any other suggestion before changing tuner?

    Thx

doesn't mean that your dish is well aligned !

I can lock on some tp's using my old 7020, and with HD receivers, i can't get it locking !

    Dvb/s2 tuners requires stronger signals

    tune Failed

    Hi
have you got any stations then? Its just that the DB's do tune failed when station isnt there and there have been a lot of changes over the last six months or so, and all my Digitalb for example show this message - many french ones on 19e do. You could use lyngsat or something to check transponder etc for a station you used to have and see if it has moved by a manual tune if dish is fine. Have you checked signal strength? Good Luck Brain

    Tune Failed

I am not quite sure what you are saying here - good signal and you have all stations. Does that mean you can see them or just that the names are there and all say tune failed? Brain

    Tune failed

How are you using the two boxes then? Looped through? Separate cable? other lnb/disequ? Have you checked that the sats are turned on in the tuner setup? Is your .xml up to date? Have had similar problems with some images when I have restored settings after flashing. Cant think of anything else. Sorry - Brain

Sounds like one of the components is heating up on your box.

Chack for any condensers that is bloated.
Also check that your power supply is giving out the correct voltage, this can also repaired easily.

If your box is in cobinate, try geting a laptop fan for it.

    Sorry for the bad spelling.
English is not my native language.

I meant cabinete (this may also be wrong).
(a box that has shelvs and a glass door).
Overheating causes DM to under perform.

TRy using a comuputer fan, it helps.
