I have a folder, jazbck.tgz containing two files, DISK2 and Plugins.

I have installed Jazup 2.2 and AZup v2.0.4.

I have been unable to restore my Azbox back to Firmware 0.9.5306

    Hello,

    Use this e2 file http://www.azbox-enigma.eu/upload/Ba...fficial_FW.rar
to come back with official kernel.
Put a official 'patch.bin' on your usb memory stick and plug it in your azbox.
    Reboot azbox.
Your azbox is normaly in rescue mode.
Put the ip of your azbox in jazup 2.2 and click on the 'Restore official Boot' take the e2 file (link above). Jazup will flash the official kernel in your azbox.
    Don't remove the usb stick...
Your azbox must be fall in the official update firmware panel.
Format DOM and use USB option for a official upgrade.

You can read the do***entation in the jazup 2.2 package all is explaine.

    Regards.
    Hectore.

I have followed the progress of all those, the Ripper team and many others working on E2 for the Azbox. I have held off installing as many of the posts were too technical for my lack of knowledge. Last night I thought I would try to install E2 and somewhere went wrong and got into the recurring messages of either rebooting or rescue mode /? I gave up at 02.00 and thought I had turned the Azbox Premium HD into the proverbial brick.

You can imagine my delight at reading this thread, downloading jazup 2.2 and now have restored the potential brick to a working Azbox albeit not yet on E2.

I shall try again to install E2 when my 70 year old brain is clearer and the level of shiraz in the bloodstream is much lower.
So many thanks to Hectore and Pr2 for this excellent tool.

    Hello,

Verify, if you are a DHCP server on your home network.
Normaly in rescue mode, the ip is print on the front LED panel (No for Ultra).
If you are in rescue mode, you can use ip search of jazup.

    Regards.
